Overview
The Skuttle 86-UD humidifier is a whole-house humidifier designed to be installed on a forced-air heating system for a home or office. There are multiple versions of the 86-UD and include the 86, 86-UD and 86UD. They are all the same and use the same parts. It is mounted under your supply duct. Maximum humidifier efficiency depends upon the tightness of your home, the hardness of your water and a variety of external factors.
Annual Maintenance
The humidifier filter on your Skuttle 86-UD humidifier must be replaced at least once per year for optimum performance and to increase the life of your humidifier and heating equipment.
