Overview

The Field Controls Whole House Steam Humidifier is compatible with almost every model of forced air system and is ideally used with heat pumps. The Steam Humidifier operates any time there is a call for humidity, not just when there is a call for heat. The model S2020 steam humidifier can output up to 23 gallons per day and humidistat is included.

How Does a Steam Humidifier Work?

A portion of the heated air from the furnace passes through a water-soaked pad where it absorbs additional moisture and then returns for distribution throughout the home. Unevaporated water drains from the bottom of the unit to eliminate mineral build-up.
